Introduction

Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is cell-free DNA from tumor cells, found in blood, synovial fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, and other body fluids. As a real-time tumor biomarker, ctDNA can be sequenced by next-generation sequencing in non-invasive liquid biopsy to track the tumor status of patients.
